Nora Cronin Presentation Academy (NCPA) is a Catholic private Middle School for underserved girls in the City of Newburgh and NY's Hudson Valley. NCPA provides a pathway out of poverty through education as a means to raise expectations for young girls in this drug and crime ridden city ,with the highest instance of teen pregnancy in New York State.
The cost of education is $10,000 per student. NCPA receives no federal, state or local grant funding or any funding from the Archdiocese of New York or any individual parish. The cost of education is covered by fund raising and grants. Parents pay a nominal $50 per student and volunteer all maintenance services. All students meet the federal standards for free or reduced lunch programs.
The school has a charter from New York State, follows the requirements of the New York State Department of Education, and is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
We are entirely funded by grants, donations, and gifts in Kind.
